Rockland, Maine (January 3, 2024) - Hazel Young has joined Bar Harbor Bank & Trust as Assistant Vice President, Branch Relationship Manager for the Bank’s location in Rockland, Maine. In this role, she leads a team of banking professionals to provide solutions and guidance to help individuals, families, and businesses in Rockland and surrounding towns meet their financial goals.
Hazel has more than 25 years of experience in the banking industry. She began her career in banking in 1997 as a teller at Bangor Savings Bank. She took on tasks of increasing leadership responsibility during her time there, working her way up to her most recent position as Assistant Vice President, Assistant Branch Manager.
Hazel has completed Principles of Banking and Law in Banking courses through the American Bankers Association. She is an active volunteer in her community, volunteering at many events throughout the year.
Hazel and her significant other, Rodney, live in Waldo, Maine. She has one stepdaughter.
