Ellsworth, ME (January 14, 2025) – Jacklyn Sinclair has been promoted to Assistant Vice President, Branch Relationship Manager at Bar Harbor Bank & Trust’s location in Ellsworth, Maine. She leads the retail banking team there to provide solutions and guidance to help individuals, families, and businesses in the community meet their financial goals.
Jacklyn joined the Bank in 2012 as a Floating Customer Service Representative serving the Downeast region of Maine. Starting in 2014, she served as a Customer Service Specialist in Ellsworth, Maine. Jacklyn was then promoted in 2015 to a Personal Banker at the Ellsworth branch. She was most recently promoted to Assistant Branch Manager for that location in 2018.
Jacklyn recently earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree with a concentration in Management from the University of Maine at Augusta. She earned her associate's degree in Applied Science with a concentration in Business Management from Eastern Maine Community College. Jacklyn also earned a Certificate in Small Business Development from Eastern Maine Community College.
Jacklyn is an alumni of Leadership Hancock County, a program of The Ellsworth Chamber of Commerce aimed at developing and nurturing community leadership. She has attended and completed coursework for the Northern New England School of Banking and the Mortgage Bankers Association Emerging Leaders Conference. She is a Notary Public for the State of Maine.
Jacklyn is an active volunteer for Peninsula School and Steuben Volunteer Fire Department.
Jacklyn, her significant other, Michael Newenham, and their son, Lincoln, live in Gouldsboro, Maine.
