Northeast Harbor, Maine (January 17, 2024) – Morgan Forni has been promoted to Assistant Vice President, Branch Relationship Manager at Bar Harbor Bank & Trust. She leads teams of banking professionals at the Bank's Northeast Harbor and Southwest Harbor branches to provide solutions and guidance to help individuals, families, and businesses on Mount Desert Island meet their financial goals.
Morgan has four years of experience in retail banking. She joined the Bank in 2020 as a Customer Service Representative and was promoted to Assistant Branch Manager in 2021. Morgan was promoted to Branch Relationship Manager of the Southwest Harbor branch in 2022. Her leadership responsibilities grew in 2023 when she took on management of the Bank’s location in Northeast Harbor.
Morgan graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Marine Science from Eckerd College. She most recently earned a Master's Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Leadership from Southern New Hampshire University, where she graduated with a 4.0 GPA. Morgan has also earned several certificates through the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants including Coaching and Mentoring, Leading and Managing, Power BI, Emotional Intelligence, Critical Thinking, Time Management, Building Personal Resilience, Change Management, and Customers, Suppliers, and Supply Chain Management.
Morgan is an active volunteer in her community. She is an Olympia Leader Advisor through the Olympia Snowe Women's Leadership Institute and a Junior Achievement of Maine volunteer. Morgan also volunteers at several annual events across Mount Desert Island.
Morgan and her significant other, Jonathan Helms, live on Mount Desert Island, Maine.
