Twelve Bar Harbor Bank & Trust Employees Recognized with Brand Behavior Award for Embodying the Bank’s Core Values

Bar Harbor, Maine (February 6, 2025) –Bar Harbor Bank & Trust recently announced the winners of the Bank’s Brand Behavior Awards, a bi-annual recognition of employees who demonstrate behavior that exemplifies the Bank’s core values. Twelve employees were presented with awards for communication, initiative, positivity, professionalism, quality, and teamwork. These values guide the actions of all Bank employees and set the expectation for customers.

Employees are nominated for a Brand Behavior Award by their peers, and the winners are selected by an anonymous committee comprised of employees.

The Brand Behavior Award winners for the second half of 2024 are:

Jeanne Canty and Wren Newenham are the recipients of the Communication Award, which recognizes employees who share the right information clearly and quickly to build great relationships. Canty, Assistant Vice President Consumer Collections Manager, joined the Bank in 2011 and works in Newport, New Hampshire. Newenham, Dispute Analyst, joined the Bank in 2015 and works in Ellsworth, Maine.

Kylee Beaucage and Rachel Flanagan are the recipients of the Initiative Award, which recognizes employees who continually work to improve the customer experience and team development. Beaucage, Branch Relationship Manager, joined the Bank in 2023 and manages the Bank’s location in Williamstown, Vermont. Flanagan, Assistant Branch Manager, joined the Bank in 2022 and helps manage the Bank’s locations in Hanover, New Hampshire, and West Lebanon, New Hampshire.

Nichole England and MyMy Nguyen are the recipients of the Positivity Award, which recognizes employees who create a rewarding and exciting place to work. England, Branch Relationship Manager, joined the Bank in 2024 and manages the Bank’s location in Brunswick, Maine. Nguyen, Vice President Portfolio Manager, joined the Bank in 2016 and works in Bangor, Maine.

Heidi Grindle and Sharon Mahoney are the recipients of the Professionalism Award, which recognizes employees who treat others with care and respect. Grindle, Accounts Payable Manager, joined the Bank in 2021 and works in Ellsworth, Maine. Mahoney, Personal Banker, joined the Bank in 2010 and works in the Bank’s location in South China, Maine.

Nikos Kalampalikis and Maggie Swett are the recipients of the Quality Award, which recognizes employees who ensure the Bank adheres to the highest quality standards. Kalampalikis, Assistant Vice President Branch Relationship Manager, joined the Bank in 2018 and manages the Bank’s branch located in Manchester, New Hampshire. Swett, Personal Banker, joined the organization in 2020 and works in the Bank’s location on Heater Road in Lebanon, New Hampshire.

Colleen Paquette and Janis Wells are the recipients of the Teamwork Award, which recognizes employees who build great teams to make positive things happen. Paquette, Assistant Vice President Branch Relationship Manager, joined the Bank in 2014 and manages the Bank’s locations in Bradford, New Hampshire, and Newbury, New Hampshire. Wells, Administrative Coordinator, joined the Bank in 2022 and works in Ellsworth, Maine.
