Bar Harbor Bank & Trust Recognizes Twelve Employees for Exemplifying Bank’s Brand Behaviors

Bar Harbor, Maine (February 21, 2024) – Twelve Bar Harbor Bank & Trust employees were recently presented with the Bar Harbor Bank & Trust Brand Behavior Award for demonstrating behavior that exemplifies the Bank’s core values of communication, initiative, positivity, professionalism, quality, and teamwork. These values guide the actions of all Bank employees and set the expectation for customers.

Candidates for the Brand Behavior Awards are peer-nominated, and the winners are selected by an anonymous committee comprised of employees from across the organization. The awards are presented twice a year.

The Brand Behavior Award Winners for H2 2023 are:

Elizabeth Hardt and Kim Prewitt are the recipients of the Communication Award, which recognizes employees who share the right information clearly and quickly to build great relationships. Hardt, Personal Banker, joined the Bank in 2022 and works in the Hanover, New Hampshire, branch. Prewitt, Card & Fraud Analyst, has been with the Bank for five years and works in Bangor, Maine.

Krystal Jordan and Lynn Shea are the recipients of the Initiative Award, which recognizes employees who continually work to improve the customer experience and team development. Jordan, Vice President Community Banking Relationship Manager, has been with the Bank for 14 years and works in Ellsworth, Maine. Shea, BSA/AML Analyst, joined the Bank in 2020 and works in Hampden, Maine.

Shania Adams and Kim Pagon are the recipients of the Positivity Award, which recognizes employees who create a rewarding and exciting place to work. Adams, Human Resources Operations Specialist, has been with the Bank for seven years and works in Newport, New Hampshire. Pagon, Personal Banker, joined the Bank in 2022 and works in the Brunswick, Maine, branch.

Tiana Falvey and Brian Scofield are the recipients of the Professionalism Award, which recognizes employees who treat others with care and respect. Falvey, Personal Banker, joined the Bank in 2022 and works in the Brewer, Maine, branch. Scofield, Facilities Technician, also joined the Bank in 2022 and works in Ellsworth, Maine.

Stacie Madrid and Joanne Tercho are the recipients of the Quality Award, which recognizes employees who ensure the Bank adheres to the highest quality standards. Madrid, Assistant Vice President Branch Relationship Manager, has been with the Bank for four years and manages the Bank’s Main Street location in Bangor, Maine. Tercho, Vice President Portfolio Manager, joined the Bank in 2020 and works in Nashua, New Hampshire.

Jessica Hooper and Claire Ohmeis are the recipients of the Teamwork Award, which recognizes employees who build great teams to make positive things happen. Hooper, Assistant Vice President Human Resources Business Partner, joined the Bank in 2020 and works in Newport, New Hampshire. Ohmeis, Personal Banker, has been with the Bank for 11 years and works in the Southwest Harbor, Maine, branch.
