Hampden, Maine (March 26, 2025) – Debra Crook has joined Bar Harbor Bank & Trust as Vice President, Project Management Officer. In this role, she provides expert guidance and supervision of company projects, ensuring alignment with strategic initiatives. Debra is responsible for managing the development and implementation of project management practices while ensuring compliance with the Bank’s Project Management Office framework, regulatory requirements, and corporate policies.
Debra has almost 30 years of project management experience. She began her career in project management in 1996 as a Senior Project Manager at Cardinal Health. After a nine-year tenure at Cardinal Health, she took on leadership roles at Avizent and Nationwide Insurance. Before joining Bar Harbor Bank & Trust, Debra spent the past 10 years at J.P. Morgan Chase, where she served in roles of increasing responsibility, with her most recent position being Vice President, Senior Project Manager.
Debra earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Excelsior College and her Master’s degree with distinction in Project Management from Keller Graduate School of Management at DeVry University. Debra is certified in change management by PROSCI.
Debra and her husband, Judson Crook, live in Bucksport, ME. They have two children and two grandchildren.
